Momentum Black Cold Air Intake System with Pro Dry S Filter (56-70021D) by Takeda. With the Momentum Sealed Stage 2 Kit, Takeda has taken Cold Air Intake Systems to the next level. Instead of placing the air filter outside the engine bay, Takeda positions a special Pro DRY S or Pro 5R air filter in a 1-piece combination air box/air scoop, where it can capture cool air forced in from the front of the vehicle. Cooler air contains more oxygen for more complete combustion and more horsepower.

The Momentum Sealed Stage 2 Cold Air Intake Kit features an innovative 1-piece rotomolded air box/air scoop that houses the air filter and shields it from engine heat, and also takes in cool air from the front of the vehicle. The air filter is a special Pro DRY S or Pro 5R with an aerodynamic "rounded" top, to reduce air resistance and direct airflow smoothly into the intake tract. A patent pending filter-to-air box interface ensures a flawless seal.

The Pro DRY S air filter combines high airflow and filtration efficiency with the convenience of oil-free maintenance. It contains 2 layers of randomly porous synthetic fabric, which allows approximately twice the airflow when compared to a typical stock air filter. The increased airflow results in more horsepower and torque, better throttle response and more miles per gallon. But this improved airflow and performance hasn't been gained at the expense of engine protection: the Pro DRY S has an excellent 99.2% filtration efficiency rating.

The Pro 5R air filter was designed to provide the maximum airflow possible, to enable your engine to make the most horsepower and torque. But this wasn't achieved by ignoring engine protection. The Pro 5R outperforms most other cotton gauze air filters with a 98.6% efficiency rating. The increased airflow and high filtration capability are the result of the Pro 5R's construction. It's made of 5 layers of progressively finer medical-grade cotton gauze. As the progressively finer layers of gauze are stacked in the Pro 5R, the randomness of the openings increase, minimizing spaces with no filter media. Dust accumulates on multiple layers, increasing overall dust holding capacity and filtration efficiency.

The pleats in both filters are evenly spaced for greater dust holding capacity and the tips are rounded for better airflow. They're also 30% deeper than comparable aftermarket air filters for longer service intervals and greater dust holding capacity.

A specially developed 3-angle velocity stack smoothes the airflow transition from the air filter to the mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube. Unlike factory air intake tubes that have sound baffles and make awkward bends, the Takeda intake tube is designed to give the engine less restrictive breathing, incorporating larger diameters and smooth bends. The end result is airflow that is increased at least 30% over the stock system, with significant gains in horsepower and torque.

The Momentum Sealed Stage 2 Cold Air Intake Kit comes complete with all necessary hardware, including detailed instructions. This system is backed by a 2-year limited warranty.

It's nice, but the glass is super thin
Everything about this is built really well, except the glass. I'll get into the glass at the end of this, so stick with me. The stand is real heavy and overbuilt if you ask me, but that makes it super stable. The rubber mat on the bottom is a nice touch. The rubber that holds the metal cone on the stand keeps it stable too. The cone works great with #4 coffee filters (I've got a mess of them). They're a bit big but they still fit. I actually use it a lot of times without the stand because I weigh my water as I add it. The cone fits nicely right in the top of the glass. The glass though. It's SUPER thin. I've had a Chemex knock-off that was slightly thicker than this break just from setting it on the counter wrong. I'm just waiting for this thing to shatter on me for no reason. This would be a great unit if that glass wasn't so thin.

Neat looking, yet over priced
This definitely looks pretty cool. And the magnet built into it makes it somewhat unique. But when you really get down to it, it's a stand for a coffee filter and carafe.

Best pour-over coffee maker
This pour-over is my favorite. I've tried metal mesh and ceramic pour-over. This set up is the best, it aerates the coffee as you pour.

I Was WRONG!!!
I ordered this because I wanted to try it out. First, make sure that you have the correct filters available or you will get irritated too... It uses a V02 filter (the small triangular kind). Then after reading the instructions I realized how many steps are required to make a cup or two of coffee with this contraption... : ) I would really recommend making yourself familiar with this type coffee brewing PRIOR to making this your first cup of coffee in the morning! lol I also didn't have a Gooseneck-style teapot (I did get by without it, but I can see where you will want that style of teapot to make the pouring process more precise!), but I improvised and used a regular teapot and it did work. Keeping in mind, I had NO idea what a pour-over coffee pot involved to make a cup of coffee, hadn't had any caffiene yet and have been battling a virus for over a week now, up until I tried the coffee I was ready to complain about this coffee pot... Then I tried the coffee...OH MY!!! This was one of the BEST cups of coffee I have ever had! I used old, bleached white coffee filters, some flavored, pre-ground Cameron's coffee (so not even a strong grind), and I couldn't shut up! This is one FABULOUS coffee maker! I am SOLD on a pour-over style brewed coffee! If you have never tried one of these, please do! It makes a fabulous cup of coffee!
